COS

Initially, the branch brought together two established programs, Literacy Initiative founded in 1990, and Support Our Students (SOS), which began operations in 1995. Since then, the branch has continued to grow. Youth Services oversees SOS and has added to its programming; The Teen Family Child Development Center, Hispanic Achievers and MotherRead/FatherRead have all been added in the past several years; and Literacy Initiative has grown beyond Adult Basic Education offerings and has expanded its services through English as A Second Language.

The services we provide would not be possible without the partnerships that the Y has developed throughout the community.
