The YMCA of Northwest North Carolina serves Alexander, Davie, Forsyth, Iredell, Stokes, Yadkin & Wilkes Counties. We have a passion for serving people of all ages, races and religions. We also offer financial assistance to those who otherwise cannot afford programs, services or membership fees at any of our locations.

» YMCA Awarded $25,000 Grant from Wells Fargo

The YMCA of Northwest North Carolina has been awarded a $25,000 grant from Wells Fargo to provide Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) educational activities in all 12 traditional summer day camps in 2015. The addition of a concentrated STEM component to traditional summer day camp is intended to help fight summer learning loss.

Branches of the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina will now offer Silver&Fit® memberships, available with participating insurance plans.

» Stokes Family YMCA and Stokes County Schools Awarded After-School Quality Improvement Grant

The Stokes Family YMCA and Stokes County Schools announced today they were awarded an After-School Quality Improvement Grant by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI). The grant will last two years totaling more than $600,000, with the possibility of a third year based on performance and funding availability.
